Registration Open for Safety City Program in Tipp City
Information provided
TIPP CITY - Registration is now open for Safety City, a structured and interactive five-day program designed to prepare incoming kindergarten students for a safe transition into school life.

Offered by Community Minded Women in partnership with Tipp-Monroe Community Services, Tipp City Police Department, Tipp City Fire and Emergency Services, and the Tipp City Board of Education, Safety City will be held at Broadway Elementary School, 223 W. Broadway St., Tipp City.

Led by an accredited Tipp City elementary school teacher, the program focuses on key safety topics including school bus behavior, traffic signals, pedestrian rules, fire safety, and poison prevention. Children will engage in hands-on activities such as navigating a room-sized, street-patterned mat on “Big Wheels,” participating in a school bus ride, and learning from daily visits with local police and fire personnel.

Special guest appearances will include a Tipp City Police Officer and Pasha from the K-9 Unit, as well as Tipp City Fire and EMS teams with a fire truck and ambulance.

The following sessions are currently available:
Session 1: June 9-13, 8:30-10 a.m.
