Information provided
PIQUA - The Piqua Arts Council (PAC) is proud to introduce Sara Wilson as its new Executive Director.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Ms. Wilson brings a wealth of experience in business and communications to PAC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and an MBA from Thomas More University in Northern Kentucky. Ms. Wilson joined PAC in early October after relocating to Wapakoneta, Ohio, earlier this year. Since then, she has embraced the small-town atmosphere and is eagerly preparing to launch an exciting 2025 season.

Her enthusiasm for leadership is evident from her five years as a Thomas More cheerleader, while her passion for communication is reflected in her co-founding of the university’s student newspaper, The More You Know. As an accomplished journalist and communications expert, Ms. Wilson has served as Marketing and Communications Director for various organizations, including companies undergoing rebuilding and rebranding phases, as well as a film and theatre nonprofit.

In her new role, Ms. Wilson is dedicated to continuing PAC’s successful programs and introducing innovative new initiatives. “I am excited to bring my energy, dedication, and vision to the Piqua arts community,” she shared.

Outside of work, Ms. Wilson enjoys attending concerts, hiking with her dog Maggi, and spending time with family and friends. An avid traveler, she loves new adventures, with favorite destinations including Nashville, Tennessee, and visiting her nephew in South Carolina. While she has yet to travel extensively beyond the United States, she dreams of planning international trips to Italy and New Zealand. A passionate concert goer and country music fan, Ms. Wilson’s favorite artists include Megan Moroney, HARDY, Kelsea Ballerini, and Cole Swindell.
