Troy-Hayner Cultural Center Taking Reservations for Mrs. Hayner’s Birthday Tea

TROY - The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is taking reservations for this year’s Mrs. Hayner’s Birthday Tea. There are two dates for the Tea: Thursday, April 24 and Sunday, April 27. Tea begins promptly at 2:00 p.m. on both days. Each year we acknowledge Mrs. Hayner for the gift of her home to the community with a tea during her birthday month. The Hayner Center is located at 301 West Main Street in Troy, Ohio.

 

  Guests will be treated to refreshments prepared from heirloom recipes passed from generation to generation to the owner of Starry Dreams Catering. Specially selected tea blends from the Golden Leaf Tea and Herb Company located in Tipp City, Ohio will delight those in attendance.

 

   Local artist Ginger Godfrey will present Heirloom Santas. Ginger will share several of the Santas that she crafted as one-of-a-kind family heirlooms. She will talk about the process involved in these creations as well as the importance of making something for generations to come.

 

   Reservations are required and can be made in person at the Hayner Center or online at www.troyhayner.org. The cost for the event is $20.00 per person.

 

   The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is proudly supported by the citizens of the Troy City School District through a local tax levy and generous gifts to the Friends of Hayner.

 

   Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is located at 301 West Main Street, Troy, OH 45373. Hours of operation are Monday 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, Tuesday – Thursday 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, Friday & Saturday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. The Hayner Center is closed on holidays.
