Fish Fry Dinner Season Begins Next Week in Miami County

MIAMI COUNTY - Fish Fry Dinner season is upon us. There are 12 delicious fish meals planned throughout Our
Lady of Fatima’s properties, and these popular events are open to the public!

 

   Lent is a 40-day period of spiritual reflection and growth ahead of Easter, including, for Catholics, the sacrifice of
abstaining from meat on Fridays. This also comes with the opportunity to test the best fried and baked fish recipes in the area! Plan your tasty tour around our towns this March and April.

 

   Fish Fry dinners will be hosted at the following four locations within Our Lady of Fatima family of parishes’
properties:

 

PIQUA – St. Mary Catholic Church in the Piqua Catholic School North Street Campus cafeteria at 503 W. North
Street. Hosted by Family Life of St. Mary, this begins Friday, March 7, 5:00-7:00 p.m. More dinners at this
location are: March 14, 21, 28 April 4 and 11.

WEST MILTON – Church of the Transfiguration at 972 S. Miami Street will host its one-time, huge Fish Fry Dinner
on Friday, March 7, 6:00-9:00 PM with games of chance and “horse racing” in the Parish Hall. Stations of the Cross
will be offered in the church at 7:00 p.m. for those interested.

TROY – St. Patrick Catholic Church (Crawford Street door undercroft/basement with ramp access) is at 409 E. Main
Street. After a couple-year hiatus, they are back! Fish Fry Dinners sponsored by the St. Pat’s Men’s Softball Team
will be held March 21 and April 11, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

COVINGTON – St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus, 6925 US-36, has its first dinner scheduled on March 14. The others will be March 28 and April 11, and they are hosted by the Knights of Columbus - Covington.

 

   These are cash-friendly events. Pricing varies by location, $10–15 for adults, and some have discounted rates for seniors or children 12 years and under. See the graphic for more details. See you on Fridays within Our Lady of Fatima family of parishes!
